The East Japan Die & Mold Manufacturers' Employees Pension Fund was established. The fuud was later expaneded to a national organization of the Japan Die & Mold Pension Fund. |

The Tokyo Die & Mold Manufacturers' Health Insurance Union was established.
The union mainly covered die and mold manufacturers in Tokyo, but its covering area was later expanded to the Kanto, Koshinetsu, and Shizuoka areas under the name of the Eastern Die& Mold Industry Health Insurance Association. |

The association joined the International Special Tooling Association(ISTA). Representatives of Japan Die and Mold Manufacturers Association attended the ISTA's 1st International Convention(held in Belgium). |

Events commemorating the 1st gDay of the die and Moldhwas held at Machinery Promotion Hall in Tokyo. Thereafter, commemoration events were held in the hall on Nov 25 every year as the anniversary of its founding. |

The Federation of Asia Die and Mold Associations(FADMA) was established by six Asian nations, including Japan. Its first conference was hel in Singapore with representatives of the Association.
Presently, ten countries are registered as members of the federation. |
