Japan Die and Mold Industry Association
Developing activities with gexhibition of creativityhas its theme.


In 1957, we established gJapan Die and Mold Manufacturers Associationhmainly organized by die and mold manufacturers,aimed a popularization of dies and molds and standardization of its technology. Since then, the Association has played a vital role in Japan's high economic growth as a supporting industry in processing and fabrication industries.

Recently, we achieved high precision and high quality of molds and dies, short-cutting of delivery time and cost reduction, and we are proud that these have served as a driving force in improving the position of Japanese processing and fabrication industries in the world.

In the future, we will further drive the established policy and also further build up know-how deeply and widely and contribute to the development of industries in order to contribute to a creative society in the 21st century.
To achieve those targets, we reached the conclusion that organization of the such as restructuring.
Under such circumstances, the association establishedgJapan Die and Mold Industry Association,hon July 1,1994,as a national center of the Japanese mold and die industry leading the world, intended for sound development of the mold and die industry and relative industries and coordinated prosperity of the world economy and improvement of the nation.

1.As a general consultant
Japan Die and Mold Industry Association provides information of technology development as well as significant changes of demands and serves as a general consultant for securing funds and human resources and practical management guidance for financial and labor managements.

2.Opening of lectures and forums
ETechnical training of CAD/CAM and training of system development.
EOpening of international technical training and forums.
EImprovement of members'technology level and mutual exchange.

3.Coping with internationalization and exhibition of a leading power
EKeeping international evaluation of the Japanese die and mold technology.
EDevelopment of exports and easing of trade frictions.
ETechnological cooperation with developing countries.
EBuilding up of cooperation with die and mold associations in the world.
EExchange of technology and information among die and mold associations in the world.


4.In concert with die and mold associations in the world
Die and mold technology is required throughout the world, and it is unique for each country. It will be necessary to further upgrade the technology through the exchange of technology and information.
